Made it out to Carters Lake Tumbling Waters Trail today! Didn’t know this little gem exists existed and only heard about it when reviewing the AJC’s Top 40 Waterfalls for North Georgia list.

These trails are gorgeous!

Eventually, the trail crosses the river with on a very sturdy bridge.

To the left, the river leads into to the northern tip of Carters Lake.

Looking Look to the right and you find the lower section of Tumbling Waters Falls.

A After a quick selfie, a bit more hiking on the other side of the river awaited.

Then you make it to the upper section of the falls. Quite a pretty cascading set of falls.
