West Alabama’s Covered Bridges

If looking for https://martin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/jazzyearl/pages/19070989 in West Alabama, then you should start on the campus of the University of West Alabama where you’ll find the Alamuchee-Bellamy Covered Bridge which was built way back in 1861. It’s looking pretty darn good for a 150 year old bridge!

It is holding up better then this fella in his early 50’s.

Heading back towards Birmingham I stopped to see this old mill at Tannehill State Park which just a couple miles from the second covered bridge of the day.

As I said, just down the street was the second covered bridge of the day. A simple (and not very old) covered bridge; the Tannehill Valley Estate Covered Bridge.

A good day for https://martin.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/jazzyearl/pages/19070989 indeed!
