Another great day of waterfall hunting. First up was to see Becky Branch Falls and Warwoman Falls.

From the first parking lot at the “Start” identified on the map below, we decide to head up across the road to head to Becky Branch Falls.

That is when we stumbled on several of these old creepy fish hatcheries.

We found a nice informational sign about William Bartram and imagined being here just around the US revolutionary times.

Pretty quickly, we were on the footbridge at the base of the 30 foot tall Becky Branch Falls.

What a beautiful place for a selfie!

We backtracked and eventually got to the back parking lot which has a cool old pavilion to gather at.

A quick quarter mile later, you reach the little 20 foot Warwoman Falls.

We got back to the car and then as the map above, and this blog post details, you can DRIVE a tiny bit and cut a few miles off your hike to make it up to Martins Creek Falls – MY namesake!!

Another good spot for a selfie!!

The map also shows there is a smaller 12 foot Lower Falls on Martins Creek, but the trail was impassable just before due to a giant tree trunk blocking everything. Not a big deal as we saw some good waterfalls on this trip, but it would have been a big downer to hike those extra miles and not have gotten the chance to see MY Martins Creek Falls above.

Again, a nice day for checking out some waterfalls.
