Yurt Camping at High Falls State Park

Another back-posted entry in my blog.  This one during July 2015 for a trip back in February 2012.  Check out other Waterfalls and Yurts of Georgia State Parks.

A quick camping trip to High Falls State Park with reservations in Yurt #4.

Featuring scenic views...

And great accommodations!

It was a pretty cold night with a lot of fussing with the thermostat, but we made it to the morning when we took a bigger look around, including the dam near the entrance to the park.

The real attraction of this state park is its namesake; High Falls.

I always have time for a photo with my awesome kids.

Gotta share a few more photos of this fast moving falls.

Another another shot with just the kids this time.

That water was really moving and you can see the dueling trails on the other side if you look close.  When then drove over to Indian Springs State Park where we saw a much small, and man-made, waterfall.

And we finish up our visit at this state park checkout its namesake; the rolling Indian Springs.
