The Oostanaula River
The Oostanaula River
This is a tracker page to capture trips down the 50 mile Oostanaula River in North Georgia. As the map below shows, the Conasuga and Coosawattee Rivers merge into the Oostanaula which itelsef dead-ends in Rome where it picks up The Etowah River and becomes the Coosa River. The table below breaks the river up into four relatively easy floats (sourced from the second half of Paddle Georgia 2016 event) down this calm river.
Section Take Out | Miles | Date | Participants | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
N River St Bridge | 0-11 | 8/13/2016 | Lester, Amanda & kids | The Start of the Oostanaula River | |
