S2S - The Chattahoochee River from Source to Sea
Relay Down the Hooch
Verify excited to see the trips planned at https://chattahoochee.org/relay/ and hope to make many of them this year!!
Everyone has that big goal or adventure they are working on, even if only in their mind, and mine is to paddle the entire 540-ish miles of the Chattahoochee River from Source to Sea (S2S). This goal surfaced after I learned about the S2S traversal that Monica & Joe Cook did back in 1995 as documented by GPB. Of course, for me I'm chewing on this one step at a time and breaking it down into other equally silly TLA-ish sounding sections and tracking it all on my Kayaking & Canoeing Google Map.

It was early 2023 when I finally saw the 2013 documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydpBYgZkDr0 created by the Hanson brothers who also did a S2S adventure of their own. Seems I haven’t really been paddling since just before COVID started and I do hope I’ll really consider getting back into it all again.
